- Graduated from Sofia University ‘St. Kliment Ohridski’, Faculty of Law;
- Sofia District Court and Sofia City Court, one year practice as a judicial candidate;
- Regional Administration of Sofia Region, Directorate "Administrative Control, Regional Development and State Property”, one year practice as an expert;
- Practice in the field of copyright and related rights, including work with Organizations for collective management of copyright and related rights, 2000 - 2006;
- Expert-speaker on the project "Accountability and transparency in administration, management of public funds and activities of the municipal council in Sopot Municipality", realized with the financial support of Operational Programme "Administrative Capacity ", co-financed by the European Union;
- Mr. Stoychev has assisted foreign investors in Bulgaria, as well as direct investment companies. He has represented clients and led negotiations on the conclusion of privatizations, on the acquisition of shares and separate parts of enterprises.
-Party-appointed co-arbitrator under the Rules of the International Chamber of commerce (ICC) Arbitration court (2017-2018).
-Arbitrator and Chairman in Bulgarian Commodity Exchange Court of Arbitration (since 2017)

He has extensive experience of:

- Litigation before all levels of court, before Arbitration courts, including International arbitration;

- Litigation and advising on numerous suits of privatization and post-privatization cases and consultations regarding the implementation of post-privatization obligations (by Boyana Film, hotel “Balkan”, Hemus Air and others);

- Representation of clients before the Commission for protection of competition regarding cases of unfair competition, advertising and commercial promotions, as well as with regard to mergers and acquisitions, including market concentration of companies in the petroleum sector;

- Advising one of the biggest Bulgarian retail companies in the petroleum industry;

- Legal counsel in projects for renewable energy sources;

- Advising Sofia municipality and numerous state and municipal enterprises, including SERAW, in relation to public procurment, financial corrections imposed under grant contracts, agreements under rules of FIDIC, dispute resolution and so on;

- Cooperation with international law firms including in analysis, research and providing information on issues related to the Bulgarian legal aspects of a dispute that was pending before the High Court of Justice, Commercial court, London, UK with regard to Bulgarian telecommunications company Vivacom;

- Legal counsel in numerous insolvency proceedings including several big production factories;

- Legal support for numerous financial institutions regarding their registration with the Bulgarian National Bank;

- Legal services for banks, investment arms of commercial banks and international financial institutions on various projects;

- Legal advisor of trading, insurance and leasing companies regarding the compliance of their transactions with Anti money laundering legislation, Competition Protection legislation, Consumer Protection legislation and so on.
